Devin Pixton: Here I am a mother, a wife, a woman, a friend, a professional, a daughter, and a sister. All the many hats of what make up...me. I was born in New Mexico, yes it is in the United State of America, and I cherish my up bringing in such an amazingly beautiful and diverse place, although I haven't really begun to appreciate it until now that I no longer live there. My hubby and I moved here to Oregon going on 12 years now, so that I could fulfill my dream of going to a top Graduate program to get my Master's degree. Once in Oregon we immediately fell in love and here we are and here we will stay. Through my journey here in Oregon I became a School Psychologist where my passion and love for special education has been fulfilled, I became a Principal where my desire to reach as many students and families as I could has begun, and most importantly I became a mother my most prideful hat that I wear. Through becoming a mother I have discovered things about myself that I longed to be there like what it truly means to have patience, what it means to honestly be there for someone, and love...so much love.
